Dipping my toe into the stream of creativity flowing from the River of Life.

Hi, I'm Kristen.
I've spent much of my life learning what it means to say yes to Jesus.
I was five years old when I first said yes to Jesus.
Â
At twelve, I began developing a daily rhythm of prayer and Bible study.Â

Since then the yes has gotten bigger. And, if I'm honest, sometimes harder.

God's invitations have taken me to places I never expected to go. He asked me to surrender things I wanted to hold onto, truth Him when I couldn't see what was ahead, walk through seasons I would not have chosen and keep saying yes when obedience felt costly.Â

Yet, I am more convinced today than ever that Jesus is exactly who He says He is. And I am deeply grateful that He keeps asking me to follow Him.

I've always been interested in the space between potential and possibility.

I love seeing someone realize they are capable of more.Â

I love watching a team find clarity.

I love seeing a ministry discover a better way to serve people.

I love opening Scripture and watching as the Holy Spirit causes an ancient story to find its way directly into someone's Tuesday afternoon.

I love the moment when an idea stops being an idea and becomes something real.
I've grown to love the adventure that is life with Jesus.

I'm a ministry leader, speaker, writer, strategist creative, wife, mom, pastor's daughter and life long learner.
Â
I have an MBA and am continuing my theological education, pursuing a second masters degree at Denver Seminary as part of the Women's Leadership Cohort.

I've spent more than two decades serving the local church, developing ministries, teaching scripture, traveling and speaking both nationally and internationally, writing and publishing resources, creating experiences, developing leaders and helping people consider what Jesus might be calling them towards next.

Today, I serve in ministry leadership at Johnson Ferry, where I have the privilege of leading people, developing ministry strategy, and creating environments where people can grow in their faith and find meaningful community. I love the intersection of theology and creativity—the place where deep biblical truth meets real people and their very real lives.

story.
I’m a pastor’s daughter who is as surprised as you are that I'm serving in ministry! The truth is, I've spent most of my life learning what it means to just say yes to Jesus.
Â
Although I never intended to pursue full-time ministry, God’s invitation became unmistakable during my college years. Since then, I met and married the love of my life (who is also a pastor and pastor's kid!), we've moved and lived in several different states and been blessed with three amazing daughters.
Â
My ministry has been shaped not only by seasons of opportunity, but also by seasons of disappointment, healing, and deep dependence on Jesus. Those experiences have given me a particular passion for helping people encounter Christ, discover how deeply they are loved, and recognize the unique ways God is inviting them to participate in His work.

More than anything, I’m grateful that Jesus has continued to lead me—often in ways I never would have chosen. The privilege of knowing Him and helping others know Him is one of the greatest gifts of my life.

Mission
My mission is to help people encounter Jesus, discover how deeply they are loved by Him, and live with the freedom, purpose and courage to say yes to His call.
Hands Down. Heads Up. Hearts Whole. Feet Forward. That is the invitation. That is the life I am continually learning to live. And that is the work I want my life to help others do.
