Hands down. Heads up.
Hearts whole. Feet forward.
Kristen Carr is a ministry leader, communicator, strategist, and author passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, understand who they are in Him, and move courageously into the work God is inviting them to join Him in doing.
Saying yes to Jesus changes everything.

I want to help people encounter Jesus, understand who they are in Him and discover what it looks like to say yes to whatever He invites them towards.
Â
Sometimes this happens from a stage.
Â
Sometimes around a table.

Sometimes through ministry strategy, a leadership conversation, a book, a curriculum or an idea that helps someone see Scripture differently.
The setting changes.
The heartbeat doesn't.
say yes to Jesus

I believe following Jesus is not simply a decision we make once. It is a life of surrender, attention, wholeness and movement.
Hands Down.
Surrender what you're carrying.
Heads Up.
Look toward Jesus and see what He is doing.
Hearts Whole.
Let Him heal, transform and make you whole.
Feet Forward.
Say yes--and take the next faithful step.
This is the kind of life I want to live. And, it's the kind of life I want to help other people live.
write + create
I use words, ideas and creativity to make biblical truth clearer and compelling ideas more accessible.

I love taking something that matters and finding the language, story, strategy or experience that helps it take root.
the intersection

Where theology meets strategy.
Where creativity meets leadership.
Where people meet purpose.
My work tends to live somewhere in that intersection.
I have an MBA and am continuing my theological education at Denver Seminary. I currently serve in ministry leadership at Johnson Ferry, where I have the privilege of leading people, developing ministry strategy, and creating environments where women can grow in their faith and find meaningful community.

Hi, I'm Kristen.
A new friend asked me once "So what do you do in ministry?". I thought about it for a minute, laughed and responded "I think I just say yes to Jesus".Â

I've spent two decades learning what it means to say yes to Jesus.

Not perfectly.

Not predictably.

But faithfully.

And? Â I'm still saying yes.
Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the
Lord mighty in battle.
Psalm 24:7-8
Lift up your heads.
